The top 10 topics I learned in Science from 1st-4th year are as follows:
1. PHOTOSYNTHESIS - My knowledge about this topic widened because of a song. A video was presented to us by our Biology adviser when I was still a 2nd year student. Until now, I can still recall some lines from the song. These lines were:
"Every plant can do this, fundamental process and we can call this photosynthesis", "Unlike me and you, plants need C O 2 and they make oxygen to make cellulose".
2. GREEK GODS AND GODDESSES - These Gods and Goddesses were not familiar to me until my freshman year in high school. I learned and knew so many of them during a fashion show in our General Science. My classmates portrayed the images of the Gods and Goddesses. Below is a picture shown before the fashion show.
3. CONSTELLATIONS - Discussed in Earth Science, this topic as far as I remember was so cool. I learned all 88 constellations (but now I can just remember a few) and even memorized all! From Andromeda to the last constellation. I had 87 as my score for memorizing the constellations. I forgot one which I don't remember now.
3 LAWS OF MOTION - I could still recall this and this topic was presented when I was 1st year. Our teacher instructed us to make a song out of it and whenever he comes for class, we sing it as a greeting to him.
4. BIOLOGY - I am not quite sure of the name of the topic but I remembered a lesson wherein we computed the X and Y. If I'm not wrong, X was for female and Y was for male. We determined if the product was a male or female.
5. COLORS - We had this on our fourth year. Our activity was to bring red, blue, green water cellophanes, a flashlight and any solid object. We had to cover the flashlight with the water cellophanes and put a solid object in between the flashlight and the white board. It was so much fun since the colors mixed together and the object's shadow formed many colors. I learned that there are many colors formed in just using three colored water cellophanes.
6. ELEMENTS OF THE PERIODIC TABLE - this was done when I was still 3rd year. Our teacher in chemistry told us to memorize all the elements in the periodic table and we had to recite it in front of the class. I had a difficulties in memorizing it since the elements can't be interchanged and should be in order but with a little time, I managed to recite all the elements in front of the class and received a good score.
7. CONSTELLATIONS - we had to memorize all 88 constellations. It was a bit tricky at first since the names of the constellations were hard to memorize but then I remembered it when we recited it in front of our Earth Science Teacher.
8. SCIENCE EXHIBIT - During the science exhibit, I had learned many things like magnetism, energy, shadows. It was a package of all sciences. It was fun too!
9. TYPES OF ROOTS - during my 2nd year, we had incentives. I chose botany as mine. From botany, I learned many types of roots.
10. WORLD CLOCK - we had this in our Earth Science. Our teacher taught us how to make a world clock, similar to that placed near the library. It was fun working with it since I now know what time is it in a particular country.
